We are a healthcare focused fund, investing in technology-enabled start-ups that are improving healthcare delivery or bringing operational efficiency to healthcare. We currently invest in startups based out of India, targeting both domestic and global markets.
We typically do not invest in biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies
We are early-stage investors and invest in Seed and Series A rounds. We invest between USD 1M and USD 5M, depending on the stage of the business. We can also participate in Series A+ investments alongside like-minded co-investors.
The evaluation varies across opportunities, but we focus on several key factors, including the significance of the problem being addressed, the size of the opportunity, the uniqueness of the solution, scalability of the model, strong financials, and the strengths of the founding team, among others.
We review all materials shared with us, including the pitch deck and any additional documents, to determine if the opportunity meets our basic criteria. This is followed by an introductory call. If the opportunity piques our interest, we conduct a deep dive into the company over the next few days or weeks—understanding business realities, assessing the quality of solution, and interacting with founding team. This process includes multiple in-depth discussions with independent subject matter experts. Finally, we present the opportunity to our Investment Committee (IC) and introduce the founders to this committee. Post IC approval we offer a term sheet and initiate a commercial due diligence.
We are hands-on investors committed to our portfolio's success. Our startups benefit from the collective expertise of W Health Ventures and 2070 Health as well as our vast network of industry leaders. We support our startups with critical hiring projects, strategic expansion into new services and geographies, future fundraising rounds, GTM and marketing experimentation to name a few.
